Tamlyn Shimizu

Tamlyn Shimizu is a global urban innovation and communications leader at BABLE Smart Cities, where she connects cities, companies and changemakers to accelerate smart, sustainable and people-centered urban transformation. Her work sits at the intersection of urban innovation, climate action, economic development, partnerships and strategic communications.

Tamlyn is also an experienced moderator, facilitator and master of ceremonies, bringing city leaders and innovators together for conversations on the future of cities. She hosts BABLE’s Smart in the City podcast, where she engages with leaders from across the world on smart-city challenges, solutions and lessons learned.

She has been actively involved with the Intelligent Community Forum, moderating discussions at previous ICF events, and joins the 2026 ICF Global Summit in Columbus as Head of Markets & Partnerships, Global and Senior Communications Expert for BABLE Smart Cities.
