Nahom Abegaze

Nahom Abegaze is Director of Continuous Improvement at Maharishi International University (MIU), where he works in operational excellence, organizational improvement, and strategic initiatives. With more than a decade of experience spanning higher education, nonprofit organizations, business, coaching, and project management, he brings a multidisciplinary approach to helping organizations strengthen performance and build cultures of continuous improvement. Originally from Ethiopia, Nahom earned undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and Communication from the University of Minnesota Duluth and has pursued graduate studies in leadership and workplace conflict resolution at MIU. His background also includes executive coaching, mediation, diversity and inclusion, entrepreneurship, and creative media. He has represented Fairfield, Iowa, through the Intelligent Community Forum, including as part of Fairfield’s delegation to the 2025 ICF Global Summit.
