Lindsey Beyger, PhD

Dr. Lindsay Beyger is Manager of Community Relations for Durham Region, Ontario, where she supports initiatives that strengthen community engagement, partnerships, innovation and the Region’s international profile. She has played an active role in Durham’s work with the Intelligent Community Forum, including efforts surrounding Durham’s recognition as the 2025 Intelligent Community of the Year.

Lindsay brings an unusual combination of scientific research, sustainability, public policy and community development to her work. She holds advanced degrees from Ontario Tech University and has published research in environmental toxicology.

Her work reflects a strong focus on building connected, innovative and inclusive communities through collaboration among government, business, education and community partners.
