Brandon Brown

Brandon Brown is the Chief Innovation and Technology Officer for the City of Dublin, Ohio, where he leads the City’s efforts to harness technology to drive innovation, strengthen cybersecurity, improve public services, and advance Dublin’s vision of being one of the world’s most connected communities. A member of Dublin’s technology team for more than two decades, Brandon has helped shape many of the initiatives that have established the city as a leader in municipal technology and smart-community development.

Prior to assuming his current role, Brandon served as Director of Innovation & Analytics and Interim Director of Information Technology. His leadership has included implementation of Dublin’s citywide fiber-optic network, advanced data analytics, the GoDublin resident-services platform, real-time data dashboards, and 3D urban modeling using augmented reality. He is also advancing the City’s use of artificial intelligence, predictive asset maintenance, smart mobility, adaptive traffic signals, computer vision, and technologies supporting public safety and emergency response. A Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Brandon is an active contributor to the regional technology community and a frequent speaker on municipal innovation, data, connectivity, and emerging technology.
